Contract Grow, Revegetation Services, Maintenance

The Elk River Estuary Enhancement Project along HWY 101 just south of Eureka will restore over 100 acres of tidal marsh habitat at the mouth of the Elk River and improve public access along the Waterfront Trail. The area was previously pastureland and invasive Spartina grass. The site will now function as a wetland as it gets more tidal influence and inundation from the Elk River and Humboldt Bay. Samara assisted in developing the revegetation plans and specifications. We collected seed of 50 different species on site which we then used to grow and install 100,000 plants.
